Nanotechnology-based surveillance predicted - Foresight Nanotech Institute, USA
As technology advances, so does the potential for that technology to be abused by authority. With the breakthroughs in technology that are undoubtedly coming, what does the future hold for us?

Nanotechnology and toxicity: the growing need for in vivo study - NanoWerk, USA

Current toxicological knowledge about engineered nanoparticles is extremely limited and traditional toxicology does not allow for a complete understanding of the size, shape, composition and aggregation-dependent interactions of nanostructures with biological systems.

An understanding of the relationship between the physical and chemical properties of nanostructures and their in vivo behavior would provide a basis for assessing toxic response and more importantly could lead to predictive models for assessing toxicity.

“Blacklist” of Nanoproducts to Appear - Russia Info Center, Russia
Russian state authorities consider majority of products, carrying “nano” prefix, to speculate on a trendy term.
A solution lies in compilation of a classification system for nanotechnological products. State officials also point at the necessity of performing thorough and complex safety studies of products and materials, used in and produced by means of nanotechnologies. The rest of the world also lacks a complete solution for this problem.

Anti-pollen nanotechnology coats hit the stores in Japan - NanoWerk, USA
As anybody with allergies knows, the problem can continue even indoors. That's because pollen settles on hair and clothing and can easily be transported indoors. New men's coats which are pollen-resistant. They're men's coats are made from a fabric that's produced in a nanotechnology process that repels water and pollen.
